What is Maritime for Students?

Maritime for Students gives anyone with a school email 4 months of the Maritime Starter plan free. Starter normally costs $20 per month and includes 20 AI agents that run in the cloud: students can clone templates like OpenClaw, Claude Code, Hermes, and ZeroClaw, or deploy their own agents with the Maritime CLI and SDK.

Who is eligible for the Maritime student program?

Anyone with an academic email address ending in .edu, .edu.XX, or .ac.XX, such as name@school.edu, name@ox.ac.uk, or name@tsinghua.edu.cn. Apply at maritime.sh/students with that address. The single-use access code is emailed to the academic inbox within about a day, one code per student. Students whose university address does not match those endings can email contact@maritime.sh.

How do I redeem the student access code?

Accepted Answer

Create a Maritime account at maritime.sh/signup, open Billing, pick the Starter plan, and enter the code in the "Add promotion code" field at the Stripe checkout. The code works once and expires 60 days after it arrives.

What happens after the 4 free months?

Accepted Answer

Starter renews at $20 per month unless you cancel, and canceling from the Billing page takes one click. If you downgrade, the free plan keeps up to 3 agents.

Is a credit card required for the student plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes, checkout collects a card, but the Starter plan itself is $0 for the 4 free months. Optional add-ons such as always-on agents, extra RAM, or extra SSD bill normally.
