Daytona plans: Pay as you go, with $200 of free compute and no card for the trial. Tier 2 needs a card and a $25 top-up.
What Maritime has that Daytona does not.
Daytona sells sandboxes it describes as composable computers, each with its own kernel, filesystem and network, billed per second on pay as you go. Maritime gives every agent its own computer: sandboxes, persistent agent boxes, Linux and Windows desktops, and Android phones, on one API.
Windows on paid Growth and above
Maritime: $0.18 an hour while awake, licence included, with screenshot, click, type, files and human takeover. Requires Growth, Scale or Dedicated once the plan has been paid; not Starter or the free trial.
Daytona: Windows VM sandboxes on Tier 3 and up, by asking support, at $0.0858 per vCPU-hour. The memory price is not stated.
Android phones
Maritime: $0.15 an hour while awake. AOSP Android 15 with tap, swipe, ui_tree, install_app and an adb tunnel.
Daytona: No Android stated.
Persistent agent boxes
Maritime: $1 a month per 2 GB, awake or asleep. Keeps /data until you delete it and wakes in about a second on the next command, message, webhook or schedule.
Daytona: Auto-stop after 15 idle minutes by default. Stop keeps the filesystem and bills reserved disk; containers archive after 7 days stopped.
Per-end-user spend caps
Maritime: End users are records keyed by your own id, with one agent each, per-user spend caps, short-lived eu_ tokens for their browser, and a usage report for rebilling.
Daytona: Organizations with their own keys and quotas. No per-end-user features stated.
Private network
Maritime: Reach a system inside a customer's office through a small connector on their side, no VPN, on every plan including the free trial.
Daytona: Tier 1 and 2 have restricted internet that you cannot override. Tier 3 and 4 get allowlists and VPN (Tailscale, OpenVPN, Netbird).
